Killer of HA Gregory Slewidge dies in prison

Michael Clairoux, 52, convicted in the murder of HA prospect Greg Slewidge, has died in prison.

Clairoux had served just over one year of a life sentence when he died on Friday at Millhaven, a maximum security prison outside Kingston. In January 2025, a jury found Clairoux and Lee Marazzo guilty of killing of Slewidge, 39, more than five years earlier. The two HA had been hired by a Hells Angels support club to murder Slewidge.

Slewidge, a HAMC Ottawa Nomads prospect was found dead of sustained blunt force injuries.

Both men have been caged since their arrest Jan 18, 2022. The duo were denied bail and caged for the duration.

The Ottawa-based Hells Angels Nomad chapter has its clubhouse on Piperville Road in Carlsbad Springs.

Clairoux is a former member of the Hells Angels from Nepean. Lee Marrazzo has a history of drug convictions with the Ottawa Nomads.


Both men were known to Slewidge.
