Killers of Stéphane Dupuis reeled in

Patrick Robert, 52, Michel Duci, 56, and André Carrier, 58 were arrested by the Montreal police and detained for their court appearances. They all face a first-degree murder charge in the April 12, 2022 fatal shooting of Stéphane Dupuis.

Dupuis was an alpha level cocaine dealer with connections to the executed mafioso Francesco Del Balso.
Patrick Robert is part of HA Mario Brouillette’s group.

Although he no longer officially wears Hells Angels colors, Mario Brouillette is the top player of organized crime in Montreal. Brouillette has become a prospective of the Dominican Republic chapter which his father, Aurèle Brouillette, founded. Dupuis was considered by the police to be a top level importer and distributor of cocaine, and a moneylender. Stéphane Dupuis was a close business associate of HA Mario Brouillette.

He dealt extensively with Francesco Del Balso, then a street boss in the Montreal Mafia.

Dupuis was shot 8 times while waiting to enter a car wash. During the 2000s, Dupuis was arrested as part of operation Ziplock, along with René Charbonneau.

Dupuis was sentenced to 35 months for cocaine trafficking and gangsterism in 2008. Stéphane Dupuis was the target of a hit man in October 2020 but survived.
