Trump had announced the US will help “guide” ships that have been stranded by Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz. The Strait has remained largely blocked and today Iran attacked both a cargo ship and set fire to key UAE oil port Fujairah. It is the largest port and oil storage facility in the United Arab Emirates.
