115 kg of meth in jars of pickles – Sandhers

It has been confirmed that the 46-year-old man arrested in Kelowna was a Punjabi, said to be an overstay. He was referred to the Canada Border Services Agency for “appropriate immigration enforcement action.” He and/or the lab was around Merritt.

Usual suspects for the latest meth bust is the Sandher Crime Family.

Sandhers got slightly craftier. The Australian shell company becomes an import/export company in disguise.

RCMP say 3 have been arrested after 115 kg of meth was uncovered in a shipment of pickles in January at the Tsawwassen Container Examination Facility.

The RCMP Federal Policing Pacific Region said cops identified a shipment of drugs about to be exported to Australia from B.C. The shipment arrived in Melbourne on 4 March, 2026. Australian Border Force delivered inert product to an address in Campbellfield, Victoria, on 17 March, 2026 and busted 2. Also on March 17, a 46-year-old ‘foreign national’ was arrested in Kelowna. He was released with a referral to the CBSA due to his immigration status. RCMP executed search warrants in Abbotsford, Kelowna and the Lower Nicola region, seizing cellphones and other devices.

On March 17, two men, 40 and 63, were arrested in Australia and homes in Sydney and Melbourne searched. Raids returned $400k cash, 8 1kg silver bars, a luxury vehicle, jewelry and watches, electronic devices and drug paraphernalia.

One fingers the Sandher Crime Family instantly. That suspicion was confirmed as fact. The number of wholesale meth producers in the Okanagan isn’t a long list.
