There’s another player in the CorruptCare fraud and that is former Minister of Mental Health and Addiction Dan Williams.

He was sworn into the thieving cabinet of Dani Panama June 9, 2023. Williams was moved to Minister of Municipal Affairs on May 16, 2025. He previously served as the Minister of Mental Health and Addiction. According to the resigned Pete Guthrie, Dan Williams directed payments for First Nations projects to go through Sam Mraiche’s lawyer Brian Ward. Dan Williams has denied knowing Jitendra Prasad.
Mentzelopoulos was told in a January phone call that Williams was “very concerned” about the internal investigations, including one involving “our good friend JP,” with JP being Jitendra Prasad.
