“I never knew anything about it,” Trump told Reuters in a phone interview. Shortly after his comments to Reuters, Trump posted to Truth Social that Noem would be replaced.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is famous for her endless photo ops. One involving a gun she was pointing at a cop’s head. “Here we are with Marco and Brian today,” she says, with the muzzle pointed at Brian’s head, ready to blow his brains out. Even MAGA hard core is Kristi Noem cringing.
Military types tried to correct Noem’s ‘bad muzzle discipline.’ “Noem is pointing the M4 muzzle at an agent with an open dust cover, indicating a chambered round. It’s the worst possible place to point it.”
Noem faced accusations of wasting agency funds. She approved the purchase of two Gulfstream G700 luxury jets, and the department had plans to acquire a Boeing 737 for $70m.
Noem defended the spending, saying that as well as being “long-range command and control aircraft”, the fleet would be used for deportations. A senator showed a picture of a plush bedroom that was apparently on board one of the jets. Noem acknowledged the plane had a bedroom, but said it was being “refurbished”.
