Hip hop artist Richie Stacks faces music

Richard Anderson Brewster, a.k.a Toronto hip hop artist Richie Stacks, was one of five people charged in a massive 2023 drug bust that took more than $1m of drugs off the streets. The trial of Richard Brewster, Leyla Ibrahim and Tequar Jones has been scheduled to take place over five days starting on Sept. 27, 2027.

When busted, the 700 grams of fentanyl seized in the drug bust marked a record haul for Sault Police. Stacks of cash totalling $74k and a stolen vehicle were also seized in the bust. Another $620k in illicit drugs was seized following the execution of search warrants in Oshawa and Whitby.

Brewster, also known as hip-hop artist Richie Stacks — was released on bail in June 2024.
