Aaron Barner, who held the title of senior executive officer, departed the Métis Nation, the Indigenous group announced.

“Following meetings held last week in Edmonton where confidential information and documentation was provided to Citizens’ Council, including privileged legal advice, a series of unanimous resolutions were passed and direction was provided for this statement to be released.

Citizens’ Council confirms that Mr. Aaron Barner is no longer employed as the Senior Executive Officer (SEO) of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government effective immediately.”

The sad news is that this corrupt woman is still spewing. Despite being firmly tied to Sam Mraiche’s massive fraud, this woman is still spewing utter bullshit as top level Métis governance.

“A flurry of liens and other lawsuits have followed the litigation between Melewka Homes and AEHE Holding. Six contractors, including Melewka Homes, have filed liens totalling $10.6-million against the Métis Nation’s recovery-centre property. Two subcontractors are also suing Melewka Homes and Métis Crossing Ltd., the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Métis Nation that owns the land on which the recovery centre is being built.

The Métis Nation entered into an agreement with Melewka Homes for the recovery centre’s construction in January, 2024, according to a copy of the contract filed in court. The contract was signed by Lewis Semashkewich on behalf of Melewka Homes, and by Ms. Sandmaier, the Métis Nation’s president. Mr. Barner signed as a witness.”

Chartrand withdrew his appointment as a judge to the Provincial Court of Alberta in Feb 2023, a week after being appointed. After an exhaustive application and vetting process, its virtually unheard of.
