In January 2025, Alberta Premier Danielle Smith took a two-week vacation to her Panama property, which was seen as poorly timed. Her trip included meetings with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago, which wasn’t initially disclosed.
Danielle Smith and husband David Moretta purchased a vacation villa in Panama in 2023. Panama was again the destination of Smith in February, 2025. It was the second trip that month. Smith has taken yet another vacation and is in Panama today. She left Canada January 7, 2026 and isn’t expected to return until January 19th. WHERE precisely Alberta Premier Danielle Smith’s villa is located is a mystery.
