Critteraid an animal sanctuary in Summerland reported a positive case of H5N1, also known as avian flu on Nov. 7. They are at the centre of migration routes. As birds fly south for the winter they carry with them bird flu. In the past 30 days, the virus has struck 66 poultry flocks in the U.S., leading to the deaths of more than 3.5 million turkeys, chickens and ducks, a steep increase. H5N1 is highly pathogenic with a high mortality. It spreads quickly among wild and domestic bird populations. 70 human cases have been reported.

The B.C. ostriches case has been dismissed by the Supreme Court of Canada. The very long overdue cull of the birds will proceed forthwith. This is bad news for the grift of Lucas Robinson and his entourage. He will find another.

Here. They called for dum dum supporters to go to the property and “sit with animals that need protection”. If they couldn’t do that they could fork over cash, and the more of that the better.
