Since the RCMP raided Canada\u2019s largest fentanyl lab in Falkland last October, the Mounties have accrued $3.6 million in costs removing toxic chemicals from B.C. drug labs. Its said Falkland cost upwards of $1m alone. The chemicals used to produce meth and fentanyl are extremely hazardous. Some are highly volatile and may ignite or explode if mixed or stored improperly. Fire and explosion risks are high. Chemical vapors and gases cause respiratory problems. Some chemicals will cause serious burns if they come into contact with the skin.<\/p>\n

\nDonny Lyons was executed by Prabtaj Singh Sandher and Gurtaj Singh Sandher on June 15, 2024. The hit was ordered by the Sinaloa Cartel. This was the driving event for the superlab busts that were to follow.<\/p>\n

In late September 2024 cops seized over 30 tonnes of precursors in Enderby. Donny Lyons’ truck was found on the property. The stash fed multiple labs.

Falkland superlab bust<\/strong>
\nThe largest illicit drug lab ever on Canadian soil was announced October 25, 2024. Haul was 390kg of meth, 54kg of fentanyl, 35kg of cocaine and 15kg of MDMA. The Falkland drug lab was connected to the Enderby precursor stash and was a major part of the Lyons\/Sandher\/Sinaloa Cartel operation.

\nLangley fentanyl superlab bust<\/strong>
\nBurnaby RCMP announced a fentanyl \u2018super lab\u2019 bust at a Langley farm on November 27, 2024. The drug lab at a rural property in Langley was capable of producing 7 kg of fentanyl weekly. Cops seized fentanyl, hundreds of kilograms of precursor chemicals and two vehicles.

\nSpallumcheen lab bust<\/strong>
\nVernon North Okanagan RCMP busted a lab on a rural property in Spallumcheen February 20, 2025. The property on Reservoir Road was another of the Sandher crime family. Gurtaj Singh Sandher was at the lab weeks before the raid.

\n3 labs in Aldergrove, Langley Township, and Pitt Meadows were busted between March 26 and 29, 2025.
