Charges against Pedro Inzunza Noriega and his son, Pedro Inzunza Coronel, for trafficking tons of cocaine, heroin, meth, and fentanyl into the United States as part of their operations leading the Beltr\u00e1n Leyva faction of the Sinaloa Cartel. They&#8217;re key leaders of the BLO, a faction of the Sinaloa Cartel believed to be the world&#8217;s largest fentanyl producers. The BLO controls numerous territories and plazas throughout Mexico \u2013 including Tijuana \u2013 and operates with violent impunity. On December 3, 2024, Mexican cops raided multiple locations in Sinaloa controlled and managed by the father and son and seized 1,500 kilograms (more than 1.65 tons) of fentanyl \u2013 the largest seizure of fentanyl in the world.
