May Investments on June 4, 2024 by Mraiche\u2019s numbered company. 2262576 Alberta Ltd. is listed as a voting shareholder in four corporations created by the founders of the Alberta Surgical Group. It flipped the property to the provincial government for $2m on August 29.<\/p>\n<p>Alberta Infrastructure declined to release the records of the steal, saying the deals were also under investigation by the province\u2019s office of the auditor general, and citing a section of the Freedom of Information Act that exempts disclosure of records that are in the custody of an officer of the legislature. That full-on bullshit was called out &#8230; the auditor general\u2019s investigation into the deals didn&#8217;t begin until August,  six months after the request had been filed.<\/p>\n<p>On April 14, information and privacy commissioner Diane McLeod wrote to Postmedia and Alberta Infrastructure to inform them that her office is opening an inquiry into the government not following its own information laws in withholding the documents.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gangsterismout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/HHOxU0NWEAA74RF.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"680\" height=\"371\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-22421\" srcset=\"https:\/\/gangsterismout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/HHOxU0NWEAA74RF.jpg 680w, https:\/\/gangsterismout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/HHOxU0NWEAA74RF-300x164.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 680px) 100vw, 680px\" \/><br \/>\nThe timing of this story is amazingly relevant today after 3.9m Albertans voter information was stolen by criminals yesterday. In an aside to that offense, Elections Alberta received, and unilaterally dismissed, a complaint about the massive data theft 30 days before finally &#8216;doing&#8217; something about it. The first response of Elections Alberta was 100% zero.
