Court of King\u2019s Bench Justice Michael Lema has found reasonable and probable grounds to cite Twitter podcasters James DiFiore (@jamesdifiore \u2013 james.difiore@gmail.com) and David Wallace (@pick61989 \u2013 wallacedavid1971@protonmail.com) for criminal contempt.

\nLema described their months-long campaign against former AHS CEO Athana Mentzelopoulos as \u201cbaseless humiliation and demonization\u201d aimed at pressuring her to abandon her lawsuit against the provincial government. He wrote the commentary in those videos was not legitimate journalism, but instead appeared to be aimed at making Athana Mentzelopoulos\u2019s life \u201cmiserable and ultimately to sap her will to continue with her case.\u201d<\/p>\n

The judge described Wallace and Di Fiore as shameless. \u201cWallace and Di Fiore are master insulters, insinuators, and muckrakers,\u201d he wrote. \u201cI see only one reasonable inference on the evidence: this is deliberate interference with a litigation participant.\u201d<\/p>\n

The judge’s citations mean that the court has found sufficient grounds to have the podcasters answer the contempt allegations, although a future hearing will need to be held to determine if contempt has been proven. Lema approved a restraining order against the two as well as ordering that their offending content be taken down.

Justice Michael Lema of the Court of King\u2019s Bench wrote Friday that Sandy Edmonstone was justified when he sought to obtain the records of the podcasters after they targeted him. That judicial declaration scuttles the two podcaster’s application to revoke the seizure order and bar Edmonstone from accessing their records.<\/p>\n

Lema said the men\u2019s podcasts didn\u2019t appear to have any other purpose but to make \u201cthreats of vexatious disclosures and, beyond that, increased pressure\u201d on Edmonstone in order to have him reconsider testifying in the Mentzelopoulos litigation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
\"\"<\/td>\n\u201cThis is a campaign. And apparently a no-holds-barred one,\u201d the judge wrote, calling the podcasts a \u201cvilification campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

David ‘Princess’ Wallace\u2019s own big mouth undermined his effort to persuade the judge that he had no prior motives. On his podcasts, Wallace brags that he worked previously as a political operative and said that he currently had employers paying him to slag the AHS controversy players. In his ruling, the judge pointed at Mr. Wallace\u2019s words. In an Oct. 22, 2025, podcast for example, Mr. Wallace said \u201cI\u2019m indemnified and empowered to go after everybody I want to,\u201d \u201cThis is Mr. Wallace trying to cast a noble sheen on what appears on the existing record to be a very unnoble exercise,\u201d Justice Lema wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
<\/td>\nPoS lawyer Craig Alcock had argued in court filings that his client’s foul conduct wasn\u2019t a form of intimidation. That laughable bullshit did not fly.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

Justice Lema had also issued a restraining order against the podcasters. The bums argued that this limited their freedom of expression. The judge said his order only barred them from publishing content \u201cthat are harassing, defamatory, or intended or likely to intimidate\u201d and that they weren\u2019t restricted from talking about Mr. Edmonstone in other ways. They aren’t interested in that.<\/p>\n

The Globe has penned another report on CorruptCare and David ‘Princess’ Wallace. The addition of more gory details is an eye-opener.<\/p>\n

“The evidence uncovered by Mr. Edmonstone\u2019s legal actions and The Globe\u2019s reporting have pointed toward the same locus: the Edmonton company MHCare Medical.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Globe asked MHCare how an internal screengrab of its Oilers account ended up on social media. They had no comment. Wallace disparaged Guthrie and his wife for accepting MHCare\u2019s hockey tickets, calling the couple \u201cTicket Boy\u201d and \u201cTomahawk Tracy,\u201d a reference to steak served at the arena suite. That precise verbiage was then used, improperly, on the floor of the Alberta legislature by Dani Panama.\"\"<\/p>\n

Nate Pike has let us know that former AHS CEO Athana Mentzelopolous has filed a lawsuit against bums Wallace & DiFiore.\"\"<\/p>\n

“Mentzelopolous filed both an application for interlocutory relief and a supporting affidavit, both of which contain shocking details of the alleged harassment that she was the target of for almost a full year.”\"\"<\/p>\n

The content of the two (still published) is far beyond the pale. Among other things Mentzelopolous seeks it be deleted.<\/p>\n

\u201cBetween May and December 2025, the podcasters referred to her as a \u201ccharlatan,\u201d a \u201ccriminal,\u201d a \u201cthief,\u201d a \u201cdirtbag,\u201d a \u201cfraudster,\u201d a \u201ccon lady,\u201d a \u201cbitch,\u201d a \u201cfuckin \u2019rip-off artist,\u201d an \u201cextortionist,\u201d an \u201carsonist who poses as a fireman,\u201d and a \u201clying sack of shit,\u201d among many other reckless comments. Wallace also said that \u201cthe only thing [she\u2019s] qualified for is, maybe, is a jizz mopper at a porno theatre.\u201d Wallace suggested he would make sure she never worked again.\u201d\"\"<\/p>\n

There is rock solid evidence (recordings) to prove that false. The openly lying lawyer may be disbarred and\/or charged with perjury\/obstruction of justice for deliberately trying to mislead the court.\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The matter was adjourned. When lawyers descended on Wallace in mid-December armed with the court order he disclosed that he was \u201cretained by Bryan Ward at Park Law in Alberta to do unspecified work for him.\u201d Bryan Ward has ample public material proving he worked for Sam Mraiche. DiFiore also told the search party that Ward was one of his lawyers. The very insane DiFiore claimed he was a CSIS operative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edmonstone alleges he was singled out in a campaign of harassment and intimidation because he pushed back against Premier Danielle Smith\u2019s government and its decision to fire Athana Mentzelopoulos<\/a>. He details how someone surveilled him and took surreptitious photos they threatened to distribute to his partner, as well as multiple attacks he faced online from David Wallace. Edmonstone alleges that the podcasters\u2019 commentary is designed to undermine him as a potential witness.<\/p>\n

Mentzelopoulos was replaced by Andre Tremblay. Mentzelopoulos alleged Tremblay had played a role in her dismissal, had put pressure on her to terminate critics of the government, and had cancelled a scheduled meeting with the province\u2019s Auditor-General. Edmonstone\u2019s affidavit reveals that the board took steps to limit Tremblay\u2019s executive powers because he was in a serious conflict of interest. On January 31, 2025 Smith\u2019s government dismissed the entire board and replaced it with Tremblay. Tremblay was removed December 3, 2025 but has apparently returned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Edmonstone said he started being targeted days after media reported in June 2025 that Mentzelopoulos intended to ask former AHS directors to testify in her lawsuit.<\/p>\n

Tyler Shandro received three photos showing Edmonstone having lunch with a woman in a restaurant. A text message accompanying the photos claimed that Edmonstone was unfaithful to his partner and threatened to expose him. A month later, Edmonstone read an article about a covert surveillance operation that targeted Globe and Mail journalist Carrie Tait. An anonymous X account, @thebrokedownab, had posted photos taken surreptitiously of Ms. Tait. By August, the affidavit stated, David Wallace repeatedly claimed that Edmonstone had an adulterous affair, and said he would dig further into the former board director\u2019s life. \u201cI can get a lot stiffer, Edmonstone, and I will. I will. Very soon,\u201d Wallace said.<\/p>\n

Justice Lema ordered Wallace and DiFiore to appear before him for potential contempt of court. The pair were also ordered to refrain from making comments \u201cthat are harassing, defamatory, or intended to intimidate.\u201d On December 29, in clear violation of the order, Wallace posted a video where he said Edmonstone\u2019s affidavit \u201ccontains an embarrassment of riches \u2026 He invited me right in the door. You invited the devil right into your home.\u201d The video (below) was removed days later.
