A judge denied bail for Anthony Ruggiero Jr. despite his request for a $5m bond backed by family and friends. Ruggiero participated in the 1985 slaying of boss Paul Castellano.<\/p>\n<p>In 1998, Angelo Ruggiero Jr. was sentenced to 3 years on grand larceny charges.  In 2012, he was charged with threatening a cooperating witness. The victim, Timothy Angelini was supposed to testify in the trial of another Gambino associate. &#8220;He made his hand in the shape of a gun and said, \u2018You know how we take care of rats \u2014 up close and personal.'&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/gangsterismout.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/de.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" \/><br \/>\n\u201cI believed he was a cooperating witness \u2026 and when I confronted him through my tone of voice and physical demeanor I attempted to dissuade Angelini by letting him know I would be unhappy if he testified,\u201d Ruggiero Jr., 40, said.
