Rustad was asked to leave the room to allow peeved MLAs to discuss his future as party leader privately. Rustad showed them what’s up by mentioning rumours about a relationship that a top party official was having with a worker in the party office. Premier David Eby summed it up, “They are not fit to govern.\u201d Its been a long string of scandals<\/a> from terdly nerdly Rustad.

\n2,100 new memberships suddenly appeared in Kelowna on the eve of that riding\u2019s upcoming vote in John Rustad\u2019s leadership review. In the wake of his ‘Indo-packing’ AGM, they were peculiar. The names were mostly South Asian and the phone numbers all read \u201c1111111111\u201d or \u201c2222222222.\u201d The email addresses followed the identical format of firstname.lastname@getcloudmail.co. And they all landed at the same time, just after a membership cutoff deadline in late August. Two of the new members were dead and all 2,100 memberships were bought with 1 of 3 credit cards. When busted again Rustad’s party said; \u201cThe Conservative Party regularly conducts security checks on new memberships\u201d.
