An unexpected outcome, a forced retirement is akin to expulsion. Cazzetta, then 67, was considered among the most influential bikers in Quebec for more than 30 years. &#8220;Sal&#8221; Cazzetta, also known as &#8220;La Barbe&#8221; (the beard) founded the Rock Machine MC in 1986, and was president. Cazzetta had strong ties to then recently released Raynald Desjardins, a force within the Calabrian Mafia in Montreal. Whacked dealer Maxime Lenoir had a close connection to Cazzetta. He was parolled in late 2022 after an extended prison stay. Ties to the HAMC ran deep. Piccirilli was close to Sharon Simon, the Queen of Kanesatake. Her daughter Annie Arbic married HA kingpin Martin Robert in 2018. The marriage was the social event of the decade for the HA and organized crime in Quebec.
