Project Alliance – update

Mafia boss Leonardo Rizzuto appeared in a courtroom November 3. The reason is to set pretrial proceedures and dates as the huge, complicated case runs its course. Rizzuto and the 10 suspects lassoed pleaded not guilty to charges of first-degree murder or conspiracy to commit murder for killings and alleged attempted murders between 2011 and 2021. All remain caged. Leonardo is the last Rizzuto, and his fall has experts saying it is the end of the Rizzuto’s leadership in organized crime in Quebec.

Mario Sollecito, Jean-Ismel Zéphir, Sacha Krolik
5 men are still wanted from the high profile June 12 busts of Project Alliance. Sacha Krolik, Pierry Philogène, Mario Sollecito, Gianpietro Tiberio, and Jean-Ismel Zéphir are on the run. Krolik, 57, is wanted for first-degree murder and conspiracy. Philogène, 39, is wanted for first-degree murder. Sollecito, 54, is wanted for first-degree murder and conspiracy. Tiberio, 52, is wanted for first-degree murder and attempted murder. Zéphir, 49, is wanted for first-degree murder and attempted murder.

Gianpietro Tiberio and Pierry Philogène, 38, were added to Quebec’s most wanted in August. Philogène was reeled in October 14 in Surrey.

Cops in Quebec arrested 11 men on June 11, 2025, including Montreal mafia boss Leonardo Rizzuto, in a sweeping operation targeting organized crime. It all had to do with contract killer turned rat, Frédérick Silva, who has been collaborating since 2022. Here. The hammer FINALLY fell and all 11 men pleaded not guilty to charges of either first degree murder or conspiracy to commit murder. Cops were deployed across the cities of Montreal, Laval, Blainville, Shefford, St-Lazare, Repentigny, Quebec City and Rosemère.
