Max Carbone – Century 21 Kelowna

Carbone is owner of Century 21 in Kelowna and Manraj K. Kandola’s employer.

Manraj K. Kandola is a real estate agent at his brokerage. His first response was to deny she even existed.

Over the past 9 years and counting 982 Old Vernon Road in Kelowna has been turned by Ryan Nixon of TNT Trucking and the Kandolas into an environmental disaster zone. Here

TNT Trucking operates at least a dozen dump trucks and offers demolition, excavation, landscaping supplies, waste removal, crushing and screening, waste bin rentals, soil remediation and concrete disposal. All TNT activities are banned from the Kandola’s ALR ground and have never been permitted there. The required zoning has always been industrial. (I1, I2, I3, and I4)

I exchanged e-mails with Max Carbone. “Sir I have done absolutely all the work for you. Now I expect you to cut this revolting woman loose for sickening cause.” That cause is the fact the Kandola’s illegally operated a business on their land contrary to zoning.

The ethical Max Carbone responded … “they are undertaking significant activities to remediate the property and restore it to agricultural land / viability. That seems to me to be a reasonable course of action. If you have concerns, then please report it to the appropriate government authorities.”

Most recently Ryan Nixon and TNT Trucking were nailed with a default judgment in BCSC in the amount of $85,458.08 plus interest of $4,326.75, and costs in the amount of $1,137.14. The illegal, fly by night operation won’t be paying for any remediation for the ALR land they destroyed.

2 odd years ago Max Carbone and Century 21 MIGHT have made an ethical stand with their business and the conduct of their agents. Max Carbone MIGHT have insisted Manraj K. Kandola follow the law in order to remain employed. He gave no fuk about that. He MIGHT have made a difference. Men like asshole Max Carbone are nearly as offensive as the criminals doing the act.
